There exist some moments in your life that are almost impossible to forget (not that you might be trying to), but what I mean is that the memory of that particular aspect is so good that you might even taste or smell it somehow. For instance, imagine your feet few inches into a warm beach sand and the sun blazing on you as you lay sit on one of those large beach chairs.
As you start to pick your feet to lay down the waiter walks up next to you and hands you one of the coldest drink he could have, like it was taken right out of one of those chilled display refrigerator.
And then you put your lips onto the straw and take a sip of one of the most iconic drinks of your life, a Margarita. That was my first instance with drinking a Margarita and surely not my last. Here are the Margarita recipes you can try to create your own scrumptious drink.
1. The Frozen Strawberry Margarita
As the name suggests, freeze up some fresh strawberries and wait for a while till they turn into, well, practically ice. Once that’s done, go ahead and mix up some tequila, lime juice and triple sec, once it is well mixed up, whip out your blender and add the mix into it, then take out the frozen strawberries and then put them into the blender as well, you’re basically using them as ice, but instead of the bland taste you get strawberries. Once blended well pour it out and voila, you have one of the most iconic margaritas in your hands.
2. Apple Margarita
Go to the store and grab all the apple schnapps you can. Don’t worry this isn’t going where you think it is. Along with some schnapps get yourself some apple cider and some apple juice, just don’t hold back in overdoing the apple. Go home, blend it all with some tequila, sour mix and ice and voila, your apple margarita is done.
3. Blue Margarita
The old school blue curacao margarita mix, yes folks if you are a margarita lover you know this one and it is a tasty one. It has long been the favourite of many and when it comes to the visual representation of things, the Blue Margarita is one of the best looking margaritas you can make at your home. Mix up some tequila with blue curacao and lime juice with ice and that’s it, your Blue Margarita is ready to be had.
4. Hawaiian Margarita
You cant think of margarita without thinking of beaches, the tropical island and Hawaii. Take out your blender and mix up some triple sec, tequila, some normal strawberries, pineapples (of course) and sour mix. And now taste the amazing fruit punchy Hawaiian Margarita.
5. The Original
In the end, let’s go back to the basics, don’t forget if you’re in for an amazing time with just good old lime juice, triple sec and tequila on crushed ice, the original margarita. The original margarita is where it all began, the natural taste of lime mixed with the warmth of the bitter tequila is the perfect mix for you to have an amazing time.
